The utopian dream of the Catholic town

I'm familiar with Tom Monaghan only through the students I know at Ave Maria College, which the town is being built around. Judging from my brief visit and the stories the students tell me, I would rather live in London, Oceania and have Big Brother watching me!

Here lies W. C. Fields. I would rather be living in Philadelphia.
