Now this is an excellent, substantial, detailed article on pedagogy. The grade school teacher (including up to the 8th grade) is not a diva who should be authorized (or expected) to create an entire curriculum from scratch. Students need to learn particular content and not be distracted with games of "authentic learning." ~Fredf
