Steven BrownSteven Brown is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at The Catholic University of America, and editor of A Reason Open to God: On Universities, Education, and Culture (2013), a collection of speeches, letters, and addresses by Pope Benedict XVI on the relationship between faith and intellectual life.  He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Provost Award for Overall Teaching in 2011. He is an Associate Editor of HVAC&R Research, and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Maryland.
